timelord1Silly question, but I like to be accurate when I write and I haven't (yet) found a really reliable website to verify my British slang questions, so I thought I'd post a quick question here. Sorry if this is a silly thing to do.
What would be a colloquial way to say somebody failed a subject in school? I mean, other than "failed" - I'm looking for something along the lines of "flunked" or "had to take remedial xx" Maybe there's nothing like that and I'm a complete idiot, or they're the same here as there. But, I though I'd ask in case someone would like to edify me. :)
