Dumb Question For Experienced LJ Friends...

Okay I'm totally a greenhorn on the Livejournal front - how does one make a fancy page for themselves with the custom pictures and whatnot? All my LJ friends (all four or so of them ha ha) have cool looking journals and I'm still stuck in default land. what's the trick? Thanks for any helps in advance!!!! :)

Some of it depends on what journal layout you're using, some support more customization than others; I think there's also something to do with a paid account that you have a bit more freedom in adding pictures or customizing with certain layouts. (I don't have a paid account, so I just fiddled with the colors on mine) I wouldn't know where to begin with someone like Who's journal, she seems to have a knack for that. She would probably be more help, but I thought I'd try to explain.

Sorry, I just figured out that I had the URL wrong (your post kicked me into brainstorming mode) You can have a picture in your journal style, you just have to find a layout that supports it, I use nebula.
