Definitely the entertainer. I was the class clown, have been in plays, operas, was a founding member of a local improv troupe that played all over the place, etc. However, when it comes to one-on-one, I'm painfully shy around new people. Like, the ducking head not talking at all type of shy. Unless it's a group of people with a few that I know. Then I turn it "on" and act the goofball, which works to keep people at arms' length, but also fulfills social obligations to interact with people. Online, I'm all good because you can't see me. :) Onstage, I'm all good because you can't talk to me. I belong in a padded room. :b

Hi there! just popped over to your blogspot -- how cool that you are working on original stories as well!

I was trained as a poet and writing fanfic has been my way in to fiction writing. last year for NaNo I wrote my first novel length ms!!! It is 30,000 words, middle grade length == all this is just to say, the world of fandom is a wacky world, but it is a great opportunity to make experiments, work on craft, and it certainly does expose you to a group of phenomenal writers who are only writing because they really love what they do. it has nearly ruined me for pro fic actually!!!

Well thank you!! :) This is a great place to experiment and learn what works and what really really doesn't. I was existing almost completely in a vacuum with my other writing, and my forays into whofic are helping tremendously with my original stuff.

That's fantastic about your NaNo novel - way to go!!! It's not easy, but it's so fulfilling. And addictive. :) There are so many talented people I've met through whofic, I just can't understand why folks on here aren't published!!

I definitely understand this, accept if I had to do something the least bit theatrical the audience would not only throw tomatoes but probably light them on fire or something.

I'm great with debates and tend to leave people who know me personally thinking that I must have changed from the last time I saw them, or people who have never met me to think that I'm an extreme extrovert...or a looney. ;D

Haha that's the same thing, though - you shift into another gear for debates just like any other performance. :) It's the same for a play or anything else.

It's just that I'm missing the gear that lets me talk to a person the first (or second...or third) time I meet them lol. I have all the other gears!!! :)
