Flash! Aaaaaaaaahahhhhh!!!!

One of the perks of my job is that I get to watch AWESOME all day when my client is so inclined. Today's movie of choice is the 1980s classic "Flash Gordon" - I am digging this movie, and also throwing out a challenge. I hope somebody takes me up on it. How about a cracky (or not) Doctor Who/Flash Gordon crossover shorty? Anybody? Anybody? Somebody out there has to remember grooving to the Queen-provided soundtrack, the scenery chewing of Brian Blessed (DIIIIIIIIVE, my Hawkmen!) and the stoic...Timothy Dalton-ness of Prince Barin. C'mon, somebody, hook me up!!!

Two things about that movie. One of course, the awesome song on the Queen soundtrack which I want to quote every single moment of my life.

"Send war rocket Ajax to BRING BACK HIS BODY"

but I do not remember the movie at all, despite having seen it more than once, and also, it is the patron movie of my wedding night, ie it was on TV at the hotel the night of our wedding day, and yeah, so, it totally wasn't the most memorable thing about the day. :P

I am willing to take you up on this. Give me till midnight.

.... But it will be based on the song only and not the whole movie, cause, sorry, I just don't remember the movie at ALLL.

Also did you know that Brian Blessed and David Tennant did a radio panto of Cinderella with Thandie Newton, and Brian scandalized David by cursing on live radio??? it is on youtube. :D
