Pairing: Doctor/Rose (can't tell if this is 9 or 10, I leave it up to your interpretation)

Summary: The Doctor makes lunch. Rose is reminded that he is, indeed, an alien.
A/N: Haven't written a silly little nothing in a while...I hope this is a sign of creativity returning lol.
The Doctor was in the TARDIS kitchen in his shirtsleeves, gathering several ingredients in unmarked containers; a bottle of dark brown fluid, a tube of white goo, a square container full of fluid with meaty chunks floating in it.
“What are you making?” Rose asked from her perch on the countertop.
He looked over his shoulder and shook his head with a knowing smile. “You wouldn’t like it.”
He threw a packet in the hydrator and punched in a few numbers. It beeped a moment later and he dumped the steaming contents into a bowl along with the goo and several chunks from the box of fluid.
“How do you know?” Rose pried. She slid off the counter to watch over his shoulder as he stirred the ingredients together with gusto. The smell was pungent, like soy sauce and sauerkraut, and the result of what he was stirring was a weird shade of reddish brown substance that looked a bit like rice. She looked into the bowl just as one of the meaty chunks moved. She jumped backwards.
The Doctor popped a heaping spoonful into his mouth. Rose looked away with a groan as he sucked a stray, flailing tendril into his mouth like a piece of spaghetti. The sound of him chewing the wet (was it screeching?) meat made her stomach turn. He saw the look she was giving him and set the bowl down, putting one hand on his hip.
“Just for the record, I think it’s disgusting that you will only eat meat after it’s dead. There, I said it.” He shuddered at the thought and smacked an escaping chunk of meat with his spoon, stunning it long enough for him to swallow it whole.
