I am taking a short break from Into the Howling, because I have to finish my Christmas fic for the dw_santa fix exchange!!! I finally have a good idea and I'm in a groove, so I hope it won't be too long of a break from ITH. The fic is supposed to be at least 1,000 words. Well, I hit that mark quite easily. My exchange friend is going to have quite a story to read lol. 

So, stay tuned for more ITH after this short break. :)

lol It's all I do some days. Thankfully I have a very tolerant job. :) I want to be a professional writer when I grow up, so I found a job that lets me do it for a big chunk of the day. :)

Nope, definitely no max. The only rule is that if it goes over 10K words (which happened a few times last year! Yay!), it needs to be split into multiple parts so it can be posted on LJ without me getting that Freaky Frank error page. :)

I know the feeling. I'm having that problem now, but I have finals coming up, and they don't like being ignored. I still have one more prompt to write from that meme, several one shots to write for my ongoing 9/Rose story, a follow up to 'Shadows of Giants' (this is tentative, though), a 10th doctor story, and I need to finish that prompt by onabearskinrug. But first... I have a math quiz in three hours that I need to study for. After I locate my books.

I have the handwriting of a serial killer, and it makes my hand hurt to write as fast as the story wants to come out. I type like the wind, though, so everything gets typed in my universe. :)

how do i explain a laptop in math class?
my other professors have all banned the use of laptops in their lectures so i learned to cope and this way it looks like i'm taking notes.
althouugh i don't think the tardis could translate my handwriting so i can relate. and it felt like my hand was on fire when i finished. so i think i might be some sort of massachist cause despite all this i do it anyway.

Oh that's a good point lol. I admire your dedication to the art. One of these days I'm going to try to write out a fic longhand, just for the sport of it. It will probably end up thus:

"The Doctor and Rose found themselves in a terrible" and that will be it. :)
