Post-Weekend Block

I have PWB - Post Weekend Block - which happens every time I don't spend enough time writing over the weekend. Getting back into the swing of things after a weekend of not writing leaves me a hot mess on Mondays. And sad. And grouchy. :( I just false-started my continuation of F&W three times and abandoned all three attempts. Then, because I have confidence made out of thinly spun sugar, I start to get discouraged, which is just never good. I need to watch some episodes to get 10 and Rose's voices back in my head and re-read the previous chapters and I'll get back in the groove. It's just at the moment I feel like I'm all full of cold mashed potatoes and stagnant water. :b

I ended up taking out an entire section of chapter 4 last night in an attempt to rewrite it, but now I'm completely regretting that decision. Blocked majorly. I saved the second I deleted, but I wasn't thrilled with it anyway.

If you need to talk some things through in a rambling stream-of-consciousness manner, you can email it to me! Don't know what kind of help I can be, but at least you'll have a sympathetic ear.

Don't be frustrated! That happens to me too. I vote for re-reading it or some other Ten/Rose fics that are in the same genre that you're writing. I.E. If you need to write some angst - go read some angst etc. Let me know if I can help. You can do it!

I've wondered that myself. I always have a "spare" file where I paste all my big deletions. Maybe I'll send it off. I hate to be a pain in everybody's butts anymore than I already am lol.

This is a good idea - this section is when the investigation begins, so I need to find some good Doctor in Scooby Doo mode fic. Maybe I'll post a thing in ficsearch. :) Thank you - and I might call on your fabulously muse services if you don't mind. I am going to owe you an entire bakery full of sweets with all the help you give me. :)

Man I hope so. Got some historical help from my brother, the armchair historian, so that will help me flesh things out a bit. Going to give it a rest soon. Have spent way too much time tinkering with the look of the journal.
