AAAARRRGH!!!!!

I have been trying to post my TTU story to TTU and the cut won't work. Am I dumb or something? Anybody having trouble with cuts today, or is the universe just out to get me? I mean, I know it's out to get me, but why pick on my poor little story? :( *snif*

A lot of times, I've tried to post things with cuts, and LJ put the tag right after the tag, for reasons which I still cannot comprehend. If that's the case, you can fix it in html mode. :)

What I meant was:

LJ put the < /lj-cut > tag right after the < lj-cut > tag.

I've been manually entering my cuts rather than using the cut wizard. go into HTML and do a find for the cut and remove the one that is probably there, and remove. Don't forget to remove the end tag. AND THEN, enter this, with the spaces removed, of course:

< LJ-cut text="COOL AND PITHY CUT TEXT HERE" > at the beginning AND < /LJ-CUT >

I hope I outwitted LJ buy putting those space in, or else the post tries to read the HTML tags

Okay now I commented backwards - what I meant to say HERE was that I am trying to post a cut with a picture, and when I input the cut link text the whole cut vanishes.

I think we're all suffering something like this. I tried to post something the other day and the cut went in fine, but it moved all the content that was supposed to be BEFORE the cut, to the bottom of the page

I did learn one important technical note: screaming WTF at the computer and hitting the table next to it doesn't make it work any better. Though I did try this method multiple times. :)
