Life Imitates Art. Ugh...

Our four beagles are all shelter rescues - three of them we took into our house as the last resort before they were euthanized, and ended up keeping them all. They are wonderful and each has their own nutty personality. So I started writing this fluffy thing mainly for Mr. Timelord's enjoyment and mine, involving the Doctor, Rose, and some "rescue dogs" from another planet wreaking havoc on the TARDIS.


AS I WAS WRITING IT, I heard a crash from our bedroom. Max, in an effort to drink the last of my last night's bedside glass of water, knocked over my bedside lamp that Mr. Timelord made for me, and it broke into a billion pieces.

True story. I think I'm done writing for the morning lol.

Thank you - it's a nice place to live. :) It's also a universe that's very annoyed with the general existence of Steven Moffat in relation to this show, but that's neither here nor there.

He's fine - he was standing on the bed when it happened, you see, and just ran the other way when it broke. He's got mad skills for breaking things and getting away unscathed. He's like a ninja. :b

If I ever finish it, I might post it for a giggle. :)

Max sounds like one of those trouble makers that's too cute to get in trouble, and I should know my trouble maker is sleeping next to me. :)

I would LOVE to read the misadventures of TARDIS rescues, that would be such a great read, especially if you wrote wrote it, you're brilliant with humor. :)

haha thank you! :) I will finish it and post it very soon. Yeah, Max is my baby. He shatters a lamp, I think it's funny.

When we first got him from the shelter, he broke out of his crate while I was at work and tore apart the garbage. I came home as he was finishing snacking on some bit of something and when he saw my face he ducked his head and made this little mooing sound like "oh crud I'm busted" and hid under the table. I couldn't get mad because I couldn't stop laughing. :)

They're all very good at muse-killing. Between breaking lamps or my oldest, Murphy, standing next to me and barking until I reach down to pet him, it's a wonder I get anything written at all lol
